Friendly service. Very clear, precise with instructions. I had a multiple currencies to change and all were done very thoroughly. Some rates were excellent others had a wider spread but this is where the amount I was changing was low or the currency was less popular or more controlled. I was impressed at the range.

I was there last week and tried to change some Brunei dollars to Singapore dollars. The lady working there was beyond rude. She refused to accept my money and when I gently asked why, seeing it is within my legal rights to change the currency. She asked if I was stupid and told me to leave. The company needs to sack her and give the entire frontline staff a desperately needed course in customers relation.

Friendly service from the gentleman working here on 15th September evening. I had asked if I could get my USD in smaller denominations and he clarified where I was going before suggesting what denominations to give me. Thank-you for your advice!! :) I am unsure whether the rates were good but it was in a very convenient location and I needed the money now. :)

The old lady with short hair is beyond rude. Employer should consider and think twice when come to hiring such employees to front customer. Her bad attitude at work would spoil others’ day. Noted similar review on this old lady’s rudeness.
Try the moneychanger near mrt station (JC global) which sometimes offers better rate and service.

Foreigners will find the Bugis Money Changer to be a handy location, however, if you are using the MRT then JC Global (Bugis MRT) #B1-02, which is located just one level below the station, offers the best exchange rate. Be careful not to accept old notes because they are occasionally not accepted in Singapore or other countries.
