This place has a large selection of cute but pricey stationery. The retail exec Lya Ellyana was quite rude and showed attitude. Hope the staff can be better trained to provide good customer service.

Rude retail staff (older lady) that insisted we take the unwrapped plushies from her stock stash and refused to let us take the wrapped display ones. We weren’t aware that they had some stashed stocks and the display pieces were purely meant for display. When asked if we could choose from the stock stash, she grumpily replied “all the same. aiya choose what choose, all same”. Although the plushies clearly looked different. Why the rude attitude.
She ended up passing us 2/3 of the display pieces we originally chose. So what’s so hard with letting us choose our pieces and if the display pieces can be sold to us in the, why couldn’t we take those?

I had a disappointing experience at this stationery store due to the extremely poor attitude of one of the staff members. An auntie was telling customers not to draw while they were simply testing the pens, which is the whole point of having testers available. Her tone is not well received, and her behaviour made the entire shopping experience uncomfortable. In retail, especially in a stationery store, basic courtesy and a welcoming attitude should be the minimum. I won’t be returning.

I went into the shop on 25 Feb 2025 at about 7.50pm. I wanted to some printing. So I approached the counter and asked politely the MALAY LADY WEARING SPECS AND TUDUNG. “Can I do some printing?”. She rudely replied NO!. What kind customer service is this. At least she should have reply. Sorry we do not have printing services. It’s a terrible experience being in the shop. Thanks NBC Stationery and Gift - Bugis Junction for providing such services.

Have bought stuff in the shop a few times. Until today I found they don’t allow you to take photos in the shop, even if you’re just taking pictures of your friends. It’s a stationery shop, not a museum or customs. They’re certainly “generous” when it comes to putting prices on the tags—the stuff is not cheap. Definitely won’t go again.

Super rude lady at the store, nur shirah. Like a person not wanting to work. Attitude problem when my wife ask her if she could pay by paywave. She explained in an impatient way that it was down. Please remove her from the store. Would never go back if shes there.

Don't know if the lady at the counter (shirah) is having a bad day or something but i just simply asked if I could throw a tissue in the 3 quarter full bin right behind her and she looked at me as though im some kind of peasant who asked her to eat the tissue
Then rudely told me to go outside and throw if the bin was empty I understand if it's mafan to clear but almost full and you can't even help to throw for a customer.
not sure who's the one handling training and customer service standards??? Please fire that person.

I intended to buy 50 or more pieces of colored A4 paper from this shop, but I noticed that the price was written directly on each sheet. I found it strange and disappointing, as it made the paper feel like it was in ‘pre-owned’ condition. If I bought them, I would have to erase the price from each sheet myself, which would be very inconvenient. Additionally, the elderly staff (lady) member was rude and unhelpful, which further added to the unpleasant experience. Because of this, I decided to leave without making a purchase.”

Rude sales lady who scolded us for testing the markers; so I left without buying anything although I was already planning to buy 7 zebra clickart markers.

See their reviews. What kind of staff do they have? Only lousy and busybody management: rude, lazy, 'gila,' non-service-oriented, and with an unpleasant disposition. If *they* can work, who can't? Don't patronize them. All items are expensive too.

Can always count on them to provide all my needs when it comes to gifts, cards for all occasions, stationeries etc. The store is really well-stocked with gift cards of unique designs, materials and shapes. The counter staff is also extremely patient and helpful in recommending items to suit what I was looking for. Located conveniently within Bugis Junction. Thank you team!

Plain and simple- this was heaven for me as a stationery enthusiast! The options were so good (varied, I mean), pricing was reasonable, and it's great for buying gifts, too! (10/10 would visit again if I visit Singapore again)
