Pretty standard breakfast fare with a few options. I enjoyed the toast with tuna and chilli. We got the eggs semi-solid, which, to our Western palates, were still quite runny.
Note: 1) Order solid eggs; I think they come out better. 2) Don't be shy with the white pepper.
The coffee was above average.

I am a tourist, and this was the place I chose to try the kaya toast, Nanyang coffee, and half-cooked eggs breakfast. It was good! I liked the toast more than I thought I would. I would eat again, though next time I would skip the eggs because I don't like runny eggs in general. I also got laksa, teh malaka, and swiss roll, which were decent. I especially liked that the noodles were short shapes in the laksa—less chance of splashing!
I came here a second time the next day, lining up before the store opened. It was a 5-star experience this time, since we got to experience clean tables and it was cooler as the day had just started. We ordered a lot of food. So glad we didn't opt for hotel breakfast at Andaz across the street!

They served local food. I ordered the mee siam, and it tasted more like curry noodles as the gravy was thick and the taste was rich. The banana cake was nice.

Toast Box at Bugis Junction is a great spot for a classic breakfast or snack. Their kaya toast is fluffy and delicious, and the coffee is strong and aromatic. The staff is friendly and the place is always clean. However, I found the prices to be a bit on the high side.

Love Kaya Toast and Teh Tarik (hot milk tea) here. Great local dishes like Laksa and assorted cakes. Good vibes. The traditional cafe has been restored and modernized.

This morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast of Kaya Toast, with its perfect balance of sweetness and crunch. But what really stood out to me was the Teh – rich, smooth, and unforgettable. The experience was so delightful that I’m already looking forward to coming back for more.

The kaya toast has become smaller. Taste is nice. There's also a black sesame option.
The Teh ice is very big, but not very delicious.

The service is fast and consistent, making Toast Box a reliable choice when you need a quick and satisfying meal, and definitely one of the better options for a casual pick-me-up. The banana cake was soft and moist—perfectly paired with the drinks. I always look forward to piping hot coffee, but it’s usually served at a moderate temperature.

Toast Box at Bugis Junction
Dropped by my favorite kopi spot—Toast Box at Bugis Junction. Service here is fast and efficient, which is great given how busy it gets.
It can be tough to find a seat during peak hours, but turnover is quite fast. The place feels a little squeezy, but that’s part of the charm and atmosphere of a traditional kopi joint.
Their kopi C kosong is always consistent—smooth, aromatic, and deeply satisfying.
The fragrance from their brew is simply addictive.
A great pitstop for anyone needing a caffeine fix in the Bugis area.
