Accountant (6 months)

This is a 6 month maternity cover opportunity.

Your Responsibilities

• Responsible for monthly close activities, including but not limited to preparation of monthly financial package, posting of journals, preparation of balance sheet reconciliation
• Collaborate closely with outsourced service provider in support of timely invoice booking, accounts payable, cash application, intercompany reconciliation, and other accounting activities
• Assist in preparing payments on bank platform
• Support in preparing SOX documentation
• Support in completion of Singapore Statistics survey requests
• Liaise with auditors for year-end audit fieldwork
• Support in automation projects, as required
• Other ad-hoc activities, as required

Your Profile

• Degree/diploma in Finance, Accounting or related professional qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of accounting and/or finance related role
• Written and spoken English skills
• Advanced MS excel skills including Macro VBA
• Knowledge of AS400/HFM is a plus
