The Employer

The employer is a Singapore-based Single Family Office of the promoters of a diversified business conglomerate with interests in petrochemicals and other sectors. For its Finance team, the company is looking for:

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be part of the finance and accounting team and will be responsible for:

• Manage day-to-day accounting, including journal entries and ledger maintenance.
• Prepare periodic financial reports
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Accurately update trades in a cloud-based investment management software.
• Reconcile portfolio trades and balances with banks and custodians.
• Assist in the preparation of detailed portfolio reports and analyses for management review.

Requirements

Ideal candidates will have:

• Degree in accounting/finance from a reputed university.
• 3-5 years of work experience in accounting function.
• Prior experience in a family office or private equity/VC firms preferred
• Experience in using Tally/MYOB/similar accounting software
• Hands-on. Meticulous. Independent. Good learner. Willing to work in a small team.
• Good written and oral English communication skills.
