Facilities Manager- Retail

Are you a strategic thinker with expertise in retail property Facilities Management or Projects? We’re looking for a Facilities Manager (Retail) to oversee tenancy fit-outs, asset enhancement initiatives and space reconfigurations in a leading shopping centre.

About the Role

As Facilities Manager you will manage building-related projects, ensure compliance with regulations, and drive space optimization. You’ll be the key liaison among tenants, consultants, contractors, and landlords, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee tenant fit-outs, reinstatements, reconfigurations, and AEI works.
• Conduct feasibility studies and prepare tender documents.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements
• Manage budgets and procurement while optimizing project costs.
• Lead sustainability initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Drive space planning strategies aligned with business goals.
• Build and lead a high-performing team.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Building, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or a related field).
• 5+ years of experience in retail property or shopping mall environments in Singapore.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, compliance frameworks, and building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety).
• Familiarity with green building standards (BCA Green Mark preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD knowledge is a plus.
