The employer is a large Asian manufacturer and distributor of automotive rubber products. The Singapore office is responsible for international trade in raw materials as well as end products. It is looking for a corporate finance professional to join the team as:

Position: Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will play a vital role in improving and maintaining the financial management and delivery of the business plan of Singapore company. The ideal candidate will help determine financial strategy and policy, arranging the appropriate funding and managing forex risks in the organization.

He/She will ensure that the company has the cash and liquidity to meet its obligations, and all reporting obligations are met in relation to submissions for funding, budget, for contracts and any other initiative.

He/She will manage all treasury functions, ensure tax compliance and local regulatory requirements. The Finance Manager will be an official point of contact for all financial matters and one of the authorized signatories on all financial documents. Specific responsibilities include:

• Maintaining books of accounts, tax books and accounts closing, and related compliance as per local regulations and holding company requirements.
• Compliance with GTP and APA programs
• Mitigate Forex and other financial risks by ensuring that all transactions are hedged in timely manner
• Adhere to the laid down accounting policies/processes and internal controls for sales and purchase accounting
• Achieve Strategic Cost Management (SCM), financial targets and business strategy
• Maintain banking relationships and negotiate funding and other requirements

Requirements:

Ideal candidates will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or BusinessAdministration
• Post-Graduate professional qualifications in Accounting will be added advantage
• At least 8 years of experience in Finance & Accounting function
• Hands-on SAP FICO user experience
• Understanding of GTP programme
• Experience in Budgeting and Financial Accounting
• Strong Commercial and banking experience
• Ability to work in a small team. Independent. Hands-on.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
