Foreman (Foundation Works)

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate foundation activities, including diaphragm wall (D-Wall), barrette, and other deep foundation systems.
• Plan daily manpower deployment and monitor productivity on site.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures during all site operations.
• Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, subcontractors, and machinery operators to ensure seamless site execution.
• Inspect materials, equipment, and workmanship to ensure they meet specifications.
• Monitor site progress and report daily to the site engineer or construction manager.
• Ensure that all workers adhere to safety protocols and wear the required PPE at all times.
• Identify and report any site issues, non-conformities, or delays proactively.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings regularly.
• Maintain site cleanliness and promote environmental good practices.

Job Requirements:

• At least 5 years of relevant site experience in foundation and geotechnical works.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and safe work practices in piling and excavation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and method statements.
• Good leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a multi-national workforce.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and tools used in foundation works.
• Preferably possesses a WSQ Foreman certification or equivalent.
• Familiar with Singapore’s workplace safety requirements (e.g., WSH Act, LTA/BCA safety practices).
