Head of Finance

About the Role:
Gough Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a growing real estate and lifestyle group to find a dynamic Head of Finance. This is a rare opportunity to lead financial strategy and operations for a multi-brand business shaping the way communities live, work, and connect. You’ll step into a high-impact leadership position where your financial expertise will influence strategic decisions, optimise systems, and empower teams across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and lead all finance-related matters — from budget planning to daily operations
• Provide clear, data-driven insights to guide senior leadership and influence strategic direction
• Strengthen financial processes to ensure compliance, transparency, and operational efficiency
• Build and lead a capable, service-driven finance team equipped for future growth
• Produce timely and accurate financial reports to support business performance visibility
• Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders on all finance-related matters
• Oversee cash flow, cost control, and financial forecasting
• Mentor team members and foster financial literacy across the business
• Continuously improve finance systems, reporting tools, and operational workflows

Requirements:

• 8–10 years of finance or accounting experience, with at least a few years in a leadership role
• Proven ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on financial execution
• Background in real estate, hospitality, asset management, or similar sectors is preferred
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial controls, compliance, and reporting standards
• CPA/CA qualification preferred; Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Experience in leading teams and improving cross-functional collaboration
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial matters to non-financial stakeholders
• Tech-savvy with a continuous improvement mindset
