As the Head of HSE APAC, you will lead our health, safety, and environmental efforts across the region of Asia and Oceania. This role is both strategic and hands-on—ensuring compliance with regulations, embedding a strong safety culture, and shaping leadership mindset across sites and countries. You will act as a trusted advisor to the regional leadership team while working closely with the global HSE function.

The Challenges
- Develop and execute the regional HSE strategy in line with global priorities and local realities.
- Serve as a key member of the regional leadership team, advising on all HSE-related matters.
- Promote a strong HSE culture and engage employees and management in safety initiatives.
- Oversee incident investigations, ensuring root causes are identified and actions implemented.
- Conduct audits, compliance checks, and risk assessments across regional operations.
- Ensure adherence to local laws, industry standards, and company HSE policies.
- Identify HSE training needs and deliver programs that increase awareness and capability.
- Maintain and support ISO certifications and related industry requirements.
- Engage with external stakeholders such as authorities, auditors, clients, and contractors.
- Lead monthly regional HSE forums to strengthen knowledge sharing and accountability.
- Provide support in country expansions, ensuring safe and compliant setups.
- Report HSE performance metrics and improvement plans to Regional SVP and Global HSE.
- Willingness to travel around 10%.
What It Takes
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Recognized HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO Lead Auditor) preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in HSE, ideally in logistics, shipping, or industrial sectors.
- Proven track record in leading HSE across multiple locations or countries.
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards, risk management, and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience leading audits, investigations, and training programs.
- Strong leadership and influencing capabilities across all levels of the organization.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently, drive change, and build trust.
- High integrity and commitment to ethical practices.
- Willingness to travel across the region as needed.
