Job Responsibilities:
Equipment Planning & Investment
- Assist BU Managers and Area Directors in developing equipment investment and divestment plans.
- Analyze project needs and prepare short- and long-term CapEx plans (approx. €10M–15M annually).
- Collaborate with the Zone Director and Group Equipment Department to validate requests and align with fleet strategy.
- Track and monitor investment progress and ensure compliance with procurement procedures.
Equipment Maintenance & Performance
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance strategies with the Regional Maintenance Team (RMBU).
- Review and approve budgets for maintenance and technical depreciation.
- Ensure effective implementation of maintenance systems (CMMS, maintenance books, oil analysis, etc.).
- Validate major repair decisions and supplier terms (spare parts, lubricants, etc.).
- Monitor equipment performance and ensure reliability across all BUs.
Compliance & Standards
- Ensure compliance with group policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead periodic audits and enforce documentation standards for investments, inventory, and inspections.
- Implement harmonized practices aligned with Group Equipment Department policies.
Stakeholder Engagement & Technical Support
- Act as the technical advisor to BU Managers and Area Directors.
- Represent the Group Equipment Department within the region.
- Monitor innovation trends and communicate technical updates across BUs.
- Support the commissioning of new equipment and technical solutions.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in equipment management, heavy machinery, or plant operations (construction or infrastructure sectors preferred).
- Strong understanding of equipment lifecycle, maintenance planning, and cost control.
- Experience working with CMMS tools and technical documentation systems.
- Familiarity with mechanical systems used in civil works, lifting equipment, compressed air, and workshop tools.
- Proven ability to manage multi-site operations across different countries or regions.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills.
- Able to work independently and travel within the region as required.
