The food was very average at best that’s why it was not packed even at lunch time. The ramen broth was a bit too oily and no umami taste at all, the ramen texture was Al dente which is how I like it. The Tori karaage and Gyoza were the best dishes we had there.

Convenient place, food is good, service is superb, but the portion is miserable for mazesoba. I wish they are also provide a small scoop of rice. I think just order their standard ramen; the mazesoba is normal. The lemon tea is very sweet but good for the hot weather

I ordered seafood ramen and by right the crabstick was supposed to be soft and not hard like is uncooked, but i received uncooked crabstick and told the staff here, the staff just said “is not i do one is the chef, if u want i can exchange a new one for u” but giving uncooked food to us and did not even apologise plus showing us attitude? The staff just throw the receipt to the table after we told them about the crabstick like we did something wrong?? The soba noodle is also damn hard like is not even cooked properly, is not our first time here we had way better experience last time but seems like the chef changed. The food taste dropped so much.

The pork is not fresh and has a coquettish taste. Then the meat seen to put in the fridge for a long time. Yet, sushi is not nice too. I can tell the ramen out looks is good but sushi is either appearance is not good or expensive. 5 small pieces cost about 8 dollar, and when I finish the meal I felt a little queasy. PLEASE…. One ramen and five small sushis cost me 28 dollars. It is not nice and expensive. Honestly, I won’t eat it again.🤞🏻

The lunch set is a very value for money. I had not been eating Ajisen for many years as I remembered their food is not nice but decided to give it a try again.
The ramen is ok but I think it’s still a little too salty, the gyoza doesn’t really taste good at all!!! The Karaage is not yummy too… haha so after so many years. My verdict is still the same. They are way too salty and the food is below average. Give this a miss and find a better ramen place!

i have patronised this store multiple times and the food is either too bland or too salty, there really isnt any in between! the drinks are overly sweet as well. the gyoza was super oily and it was extremely off-putting - looking at it really makes you lose your appetite
the staff there were nice and friendly though, so props to them!
the atmosphere however, was not good. there were many birds flying in and eating the leftovers of uncleared plates. despite the staff trying their best to scare them away, there were still some birds that remained - i guess it cant really be helped because of the store’s location

I realized that the management doesn't give a hook on customer feedback and reviews. Simply put,no response whatsoever. Pointless to write more.
Food - Meh
Svc - was acceptable during my visit
Return again? I doubt so.

I ordered for Grab pick-up and mentioned I asked for extra noodles, stating I would pay at the counter. However, they never added them in. Then I paid $3.27 for the extra noodles, but the portion was barely a mouthful. And I waited over 15 minutes for that one mouthful of noodles when I opened it! Very disappointed!

Mar 2025: ramen cooked al dente. A good variety for all preferred tastes. Value for money set menu or Ala carte options. There were a number of single diners as well.

The noodle is just nice not overcook until mushy which I hate most and the soup has a umami flavour. I order shrimp tempura as my side dish. But disappointing only 2 tiny piece but good thing is it taste nice. I should have order gyoza which has 4, fried chicken also 4. The baby optopus look nice too. Seeing other patrons order side disk look so nice. Next time order that. Also the portion of the noodle is too small for a man like me, lady should be enough. It only fill half of my stomach hahaha. But overall it is better than 4th floor bugis+ Japanese food.

Ajisen Ramen is a solid choice for ramen lovers who want a good meal at a reasonable price. The flavors are satisfying and hit the spot, making it a great option for a casual dining experience. While it may not stand out as exceptional compared to other ramen spots, it delivers good value for what you pay. Perfect for when you’re craving ramen without breaking the bank.

Love their ramen, simple but good for the price. Meat abit tough, other than that all is good.

The noodles were just right, not overcooked until mushy, which I particularly dislike, and the soup had an umami flavour. I ordered shrimp tempura as my side dish. But it was disappointing to only get 2 tiny pieces, though the good thing is it tasted nice. I should have ordered gyoza, which comes with 4 pieces, or the fried chicken, which also comes with 4. The baby octopus looked nice too. Seeing other patrons' side dishes, they looked so nice. Next time, I'll order that. Also, the portion of the noodles was too small for a man like me; a lady should find it sufficient. It only filled half of my stomach, hahaha. But overall, it was better than the Japanese food on the 4th floor of Bugis+.
