Pretty consistent Crystal Jade and food was great as per what we usually order from other outlets! Quite a spacious outlet with plenty of seating. It was somewhat full for a Tuesday evening but we managed to get a seat without queuing. I think it’ll be good if the prices could be featured for the online menu which would make ordering simpler.

I recently dined at Crystal Jade, and I was thoroughly impressed. The cozy atmosphere and attentive service set the tone for a wonderful evening. The standout dish was the Pickled Grilled fish which was cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. Overall, I highly recommend Crystal Jade Bugis. Thanks Danny and his team

Been here a couple of times and food has been consistently good. Love that the restaurant seats are comfy + service is also good 👍🏻
But today I tried the signature dongpo pork belly and it has a smelly pork smell :(( will advice to skip it. 👎🏻
Most of the other items I’ve tried so far are all good - eg fried rice, sweet and sour fish fillet, sautéed prawn w Korean citron mayo, sautéed egg white with fish meat, la mian with scallion oil, XLB. ☺️

Tried their healthy claypot rice, spicy steamed chicken, spicy fried chicken and shredded cabbage. All were nicely done and quite enjoyable. The flavours were well balanced, but portions were a bit smaller as compared to those served at Sichuan restaurants. I found the xiao long bao a bit average as the broth and filling didn’t quite stand out. Still, a good option if you’re looking for a satisfying Chinese meal with good service and environment.

While the service was friendly and the atmosphere was quiet, the food did not meet my expectations. I have visited Crystal Jade multiple times but this is the first time in which their fried rice fell short of my expectations. While the XLB and vegetables were decent, the fried rice tasted dry and unseasoned.
The rice grains were stale-tasting, and the prawns and chicken cubes within the dish were very tasteless and dry. Would not recommend getting this dish.

Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao is a hidden gem in Bugis Junction! The food was absolutely simple yet amazing! Every dish was packed with flavour and well prepared. Their truffle xiao long bao was nothing like any other I’ve tried -perfectly delicate, rich, and bursting with a truffle-infused broth. On top of that, the service was sensational -attentive, friendly, and efficient. If you’re ever in Bugis Junction, this spot is highly recommended for a great dining experience!

The food here wasn’t what I expected, the fried rice was good got the wok hey paired with the fish bilis. The chongqing noodles was a bit too spicy and oily tho in my opinion, and the chicken wasn’t that tender and juicy. The pancake was normal too, average starter. Love their stir fry vege and the duck, the duck don’t got the meat smell and it was fried perfectly paired with the sweet egg pancake. The vege was good by the generous ingredients.

Pretty poor quality for the chilli crab xiaolongbao, you can get better from din tai fung. Their crispy duck with crepe is soft and limp and not crispy at all, one of the worst renditions I have had. The 賽螃蟹 is above average but not remarkable. The best dish was the spicy Szechuan chicken, crispy and not overly spicy while retaining the flavours associated with the dish. Money is better spent on their other outlets like Crystal Jade Kitchen, Crystal Jade Golden Palace or Crystal Jade Palace.

Brought my mum for lunch here. Ordered a cup of tea. Mum could not finish a whole cup of tea on her own so requested for an empty glass to share her drink. Request was rejected by the young restaurant manager (I guess) stating that drinks are meant for 1pax. Anyway asked for a bowl instead so equally fine.
The 4 stars service review is given by the very patient staff who brought us the Xiao long BAO. Overall, food is still good but the presence of a residence fly is not appreciated.
Overall not a neutral dining experience. Thank you.
