I have patronized Parco Bugis Junction for many years. I called Parco Bugis Junction to try to reach Human Resources. To my shock, the person who answered the phone told me that there is no Human Resources Department. I wonder if it is truly the case that there is no Human Resources Department. This has left a bad taste in my mouth. Is it true that there is no Human Resources department at Parco Bugis Junction department store? I hope the management can answer this question truthfully. Thank you.

Extremely poor service and a very rude response from the Chinese-speaking, middle-aged salesgirl-cum-cashier (Lve). She packed a $109 old top (a tried-on piece) as my purchase and told me off when I requested a new one, rebuking me, asking why I hadn't requested it earlier. I would like to ask Lve: Isn't it industry standard to give brand new items to customers?? I was totally speechless that she insisted, in her belittling tone, and continued to pack the testing piece and gave it to me. I will not go there anymore! I feel like discarding the (testing) top that I paid $109 for today. This shopping experience really ruined my entire day. 😡

Bought a fabric face mask. Did not use it but hand-washed it the same day. Wanted to use it the next day, but saw that it was discolored after washing, so we went back to the shop. Firstly, they insisted we needed to come back another day as the manager was not around. We requested a reply rather than having to return. Then they tried to prove it was the customer's fault by washing a new face mask in front of us. The attitude of the staff and manager was not good. They had to resort to such a hostile approach rather than performing a proper service recovery. The aftertaste was so bad that we decided to just forget about the $15 or a proper exchange for an item bought the day before.

The design and quality might be nice, but I think the management should seriously look into the standards of the staff at the Bugis outlet. I'm quite upset with their service standard and felt the service rendered does not match the pricey dress or what other boutiques do. I bought a dress at the Bugis outlet recently, but there was no new piece available. The sales assistant told me they would arrange a stock transfer, which would arrive the next day, a Friday. I returned on Saturday, but was informed by the same sales assistant that the dress was not there yet. This was my first wasted trip. They should have at least dropped me a text to inform me the stock wasn't ready. I made a second trip today for collection. The same assistant who served me said she could not pass me the dress as I did not bring the collection slip. I was still okay until the manager came in and explained that it is their practice as there are people who double claim, and added that "my face looked angry." Obviously, if you had made two trips yet the dress could not be collected, would you not be angry? Being in the service line, one should have some tact and politeness in offering service, which the manager clearly lacked and was not empathetic. Since their SOP for dealing with collections is strict, the shop should also have a clear SOP for customer service. Uniqlo offers more affordable clothes and better service than the sales assistant and manager at the Bugis outlet.

Design suits me. Cutting and fabric seem good and hide body flaws. Service is good; they ironed the new pieces as requested. Good experience overall.
