Jocelyn from MAC Bugis is an excellent makeup artist. I went to buy my normal loose powder, but it was out of stock. I needed the powder urgently and had no time to go to another branch. So, she went the extra mile to introduce another compact powder that was suitable for my skin condition and went ahead to choose the colours I needed for my skin. Then she even went ahead to tell me which colour suited me and more. I was amazed by her service because normally I need to 'beg' for attention even when there are no other customers. I am so pleased with her service, and I left with a delighted smile. I hope we have more makeup artists like her. Basically, most people come with no knowledge, so we want expert help, but sometimes we are so scared to approach them. Thanks!

I am writing this to share my wonderful experience with staff member Jocelyn. I have been purchasing from Jocelyn at the Bugis outlet for about 2 years now. I must highlight that I feel appreciated that Jocelyn remembers me well, even though I do not make a monthly purchase. Her memory is excellent. She did not hard sell the products, but would recommend and share new products with me. Her customer service skills are top-notch, genuine, and clearly come from her heart. My first time visiting MAC Bugis Junction to buy the lip balm. I have never used much makeup or MAC products before, except for the lip balm. I walked in and was greeted by Jocelyn. I told her what I wanted, and she recommended another color that looked good on my skin tone. I liked her recommendation and bought two other colors. Then, as we chatted, she was super friendly, knowledgeable, and very happy to share, even though I didn't look like I was getting anything else. I then decided to buy some other makeup items that I had and that had expired. Lol. Don't judge, I really very seldom put on makeup. Jocelyn then shared a lot. To be honest, she did not push me or hard-sell me. I was just, at the same time, getting things that I needed (those that had expired in my current makeup pouch). I loved her recommendations; they were simple when tried on my face, but the result is mind-blowing. Thank you, Jocelyn! As promised, once I have finished using, I'll go back to the same outlet to look for you.

I visited on 29 Mar 2025 (Sat) 7pm for Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation complexion shade match and flash makeover with foundation-inspired mocktail (milk tea). The experience was amazing and my shade was matched well. The consultant was very friendly and explained the different steps she did. I can't help but compare that this branch is so much more peaceful and organised than the Takashimaya one hmm. Thank you once again!
