High prices for low-grade materials. Extreme "Ah Beng, Ah Lian" style clothes. More suited for students who want a quick dress-up and have low priority for style.
When sizes are unavailable in-stock, staff (I think the lady was Teresa) will hand you a completely different range of the same size and tell you that the fitting is exactly the same (one was slim-fit and the other was regular-fit. Hello? Hard sell much?). They will then assure you that they can bring in the stock from another outlet and constantly pester you to put down a deposit when you haven't even tried the actual item (or anything close to a similar fit).
Completely lost my business. This outlet and all other Recoil outlets. If you are reading this and considering whether to step into the shop hoping to come out looking and feeling better, do yourself a favour and bring your business elsewhere. NOT RECOMMENDED 👎👎

Staff were friendly and helpful, but the cashier was not familiar with a store promotion. We were told to join a free membership and download the app for points accumulation during payment.
When exiting, we saw a promotional board outside the shop stating '15% off for first purchase online/in store if the app was downloaded.'
We went back to check, and she said it was for the *next* purchase. However, we showed her the board, which clearly stated 'FIRST purchase.' So, was our first chance wasted like that?
She clarified with her colleague, and indeed, it was something that had not been shared with us after asking us to download the app. She explained that it was more for customers who wanted to save it for online use to accumulate more purchases.
But it should be the customer's decision. This *was* my first purchase, and it might be my only purchase, so I wanted to use the discount now. I requested to change the bill but was denied, which I believe was just an excuse.
The staff member who made the mistake just hid behind and turned her back to us, with no apologies from her. A pleasant experience was ruined.

Lousy experience. Waited 10 minutes for staff to get clothing. Paid for the item without checking. Staff refused to refund despite the defective item!!! Very rude staff and poor service. After wasting a lot of my time, staff finally issued a refund and admitted their fault. They even threatened to call security when it was their fault. Terrible service. I highly do not recommend. Please reflect and buck up. Don't mistreat unassuming paying customers.

Highly recommend! We were helped by 2 ladies at the store, and they were extremely happy, friendly, and very helpful!! They helped recommend what sizes or designs fit best for us and overall were very kind!
We originally entered only to buy 1 shirt, and we ended up coming home with 2 shirts and a pair of jeans😂😂 The service is very good, and the quality of clothes, I would say, is good too!!

Donkey and I embarked on a shopping mission to find the perfect outfit for his brother's wedding, a black shirt and pants to match the theme. We knew just the place to go: RECOIL! We've had great experiences with them in the past, especially during Chinese New Year when they always have incredible promotions. This time, they had a fantastic deal on blazers, shirts, and pants – a steal, considering custom-made blazers can cost a fortune!
As soon as we walked into the shop, we were greeted by Mia, a true gem of a sales associate. She was incredibly helpful and provided fantastic customer service, offering recommendations, highlighting new arrivals, and even helping us figure out the right sizes. Mia knew what styles were trending and which would look best on Donkey, making the whole experience a breeze. We had a great time chatting with her, and she made the whole process so enjoyable.
The shop itself was quiet and cozy, offering a wide variety of stylish clothes. There were plenty of fitting rooms available, and the atmosphere was much more relaxed than some of the other stores we've been to.
In the end, Donkey not only found the perfect shirt and pants but also snagged a stylish cap to complete his outfit. He couldn't have been happier!

Today, Kitty and I were on the hunt for an outfit for my brother's wedding. We needed a black shirt and black pants to match the theme. We decided to head to RECOIL because we've had good experiences there in the past. Every Chinese New Year, we buy clothes from them, and we knew they had a great promotion for blazers, shirts, and pants. That's a fantastic deal, especially since a custom-made blazer can easily cost over $200!
