The apple filling was tasteless and had hardly any custard.

Their apple strudel and durian puff are so irresistible! 🤤🤤🤤

Very disappointed as the standard of the apple strudel has dropped a lot, and the service has been consistently lousy over the past few years. On September 13th, I went down to purchase an Apple Strudel (S$6.80). 1. I politely asked her to cut it for me, and her face (a Chinese lady with short hair) started to turn black. 2. When I ate it, most parts were soggy. I actually wanted to exchange it, but then I thought to myself, 'never mind,' as the filling inside isn't as good as before anymore. I guess I will not go back again after a few incidents like these.

I purchased a very small strawberry strudel (the smallest one they have). It was good, but not worth $3.80 for a little bit of puff pastry, some cream, and literally half a strawberry. Please at least put 3-4 halves on top instead of just one half. The staff member was friendly, though.

The crepe was so hard to eat. I wasted my money on it. Not worth it! The worst! So disappointing!

I bought the pineapple balls and left them at the office. Usually, if tarts or similar items I buy are good, they're finished by everyone before the day's end. This one remained largely untouched after everyone took one. A chemical/synthetic smell was present when the bottle was opened. The pastry consistency was okay but dry, and the taste was just not right—it was too sweet.

We bought the half and mini sizes for takeaways on our flight back to Abu Dhabi on April 7th at 2 PM. We tried the mini one prior to our flight at 6 PM, and it was okay. Mid-flight, when we tried it again at 10 PM, it was already spoiled. Super disappointed! Upon reaching Abu Dhabi, the half-sized one also smelled super acidic and spoiled. Disappointed!

I love the apple tart! It's one of the few apple tarts that come with large, chunky, and juicy apple pieces. The crumble can sometimes be quite soggy, but it still makes for a very refreshing dessert. I just wish the quality were more consistent. Sometimes the tart is “leaking” at the bottom, due to being left out too long in its plastic box. Other times, it's either too sweet or has very little apple filling. The pictures shown were taken over a period of time, and you can see the discrepancies. The staff here at Bugis is very kind and patient.

Here's the edited review: Bought both the durian puffs and durian strudel on 5/8/25. We kept both pastries in the fridge. But to our disappointment and disgust, the durian puff turned bad with a strong sourish smell and taste. How could the puffs and strudels turn bad in such a short time, unless they were already spoilt when I purchased them? I tried to call the staff via telephone, but no one seemed to be answering.
