Snackz It! at Bugis Junction brings the authentic flavors of Taiwanese street food to Singapore's food enthusiasts, operating from #B1-K5A in the basement level where the aroma of traditional night market favorites creates an inviting atmosphere for customers seeking genuine Taiwanese comfort food. Founded in 2005 by serial entrepreneur Serene Ang to honor her grandfather's Taiwanese heritage, this homegrown brand has spent over a decade perfecting the art of fuss-free street eats, introducing Singaporeans to the same great taste of childhood Taiwanese snacks without requiring travel to Taiwan's bustling night markets.
The menu centers around their legendary Oyster Mee Sua, acclaimed as probably the best available in Singapore and so addictive that one bowl is never enough, complemented by signature Giant Fried Chicken, Crisp and Spicy Chicken, Thai Popcorn Fish, and Curry Chicken that capture the authentic essence of Taiwanese street culture. Additional offerings include various Mee Sua preparations with chicken, pork ribs, and squid balls, plus hearty Rice Bentos featuring Jumbo Chicken, Thai Chicken, Teriyaki Drumstick, and Braised Meat Rice that provide satisfying meals for both quick lunches and leisurely dining experiences.
Operating daily from 11AM to 9PM at 230 Victoria Street, Snackz It! Bugis Junction serves as an accessible introduction to Taiwanese culinary traditions for both local residents and international visitors exploring Singapore's diverse food scene. As part of a growing franchise network extending to Malaysia and China, this basement-level food kiosk maintains the authentic preparation methods and quality ingredients that have made Snackz It! a trusted name in Taiwanese street food, ensuring every dish delivers the genuine flavors and textures that define Taiwan's beloved night market culture.

Happened to pass by this stall and the giant squid promotion caught my eye, so I decided to give it a try.
Staff was polite, attentive & quite friendly. Mobile payment apps & cash accepted only.
I requested for less salty, no chilli powder. Received my order in about 5 minutes after making payment even with 3-4 orders ahead of mine.
Size of the squid & promotion price $6.80 are acceptable. The coating was crispy enough but I didn't really like the texture/mouthfeel & it was quite thick, with most of the flavours came from the coating & seasoning powders (pepper salt & plum), the squid underneath the coating wasn't really seasoned.
Won't be back...

Ordered the chicken cutlet. Portions are small for $6.80. Meat was very thin. Not even on the same level as Taiwanese cutlets.
