This eatery is notorious for the bad service. The food is mediocre but the service is extremely atrocious. The service staff should just leave their job and go elsewhere if they think that’s not what they want to do. The treatment they have dished out to the patrons is painful to watch. So patrons you have been warned to stay away from this joint unless you enjoyed being humiliated or being treated with disrespect!

Sunday, 6 July, 10am. Your female staff member is extremely rude. This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced this with her. I’m working nearby, and even my colleagues feel the same. I went in this morning and saw she was there, I almost walked away, but gave it another chance. Unfortunately, she ruined my morning again with her rude attitude and lack of a smile or basic courtesy. I just asked for a food and she gave me a very rude sign language! My colleagues and I have decided we will no longer shop at your store. That’s it

The opening shift staff today is horrible. It’s already 8:20am and he didn’t accept my order. Usually i order ice coffee earliest is 8:10am they do accept my order. But today everything is not yet including just ice coffee. By just saying “NOT YET” and turn away with no apologies nor explanation.

I wonder what's wrong with lady. We just reach the stall and saw she is smashing the kitchenware. The way she service us is super rude, and impatient like we are interrupting her on work. Once we ordered , she turn around and prepare the meal, and she is smashing something again. Honestly we have no idea what's going on to her. If you don't feeling well to work, please go home. I've never ever seen people working in this attitude’s. Please take action on this lady asap.

Staff was not friendly. My order consist of adding bee hoon. But the portion is similar to normal. I feel I was being cheated. It was not a very good experience to enjoy the food and I have been supporting your brand since young. Quite disappointed to start my day with such experience.

The cashier was incredibly rude and impatient, giving customers a cold stare while waiting for them to order. She then said to a customer, “You can say everything at once, I’m not unable to remember!” What kind of response is that? Is this what customer service is like? If it is, anyone can work in customer service. If I could choose a negative rating, this store would definitely get a minus five stars.

We ordered deliveroo for 2 sharing platters and 5 snacks- after waiting for 40 minutes they only passed the 5 sticks of snacks to rider who did not realize it. Rider went back to check after that and turns out they did not prepare the platters at all! Very bad service.

This chain store doesn’t seem to have consistency. This Bugis outlet always hire staff that do not bother about customers. Not attentive. Always have to call them to the counter. Also the curry puffs always not available after 6pm, which is like hours away from closing. If available, usually cold. Todays curry puff was warm though and the first time I manage to buy one after going there 3 times. Compass Point outlet staff attentive and the food is always warm.

Today's curry puff was warm though, and it was the first time I managed to buy one after going there three times. The Compass Point outlet staff are attentive, and the food is always warm.

The chicken & potato original curry puffs and the beef rendang curry puffs are my favourites although they have followed Old Chang Kee in offering an array of Singapore snacks like chicken wings and ngoh hiangs.
