Stressful day! I’m a contractor, doing work at Bugis such as painting, ad hoc cleaning, handyman services, etc., because a tenant moved out, so I was preparing the unit for its return to the owner. So after work, I came to this Bugis store to get a feel for travel.
How I wish to travel overseas... Now, with COVID, I also can't travel. I love this shop; the discount is great! At first, the staff were quiet, watching and following me here and there, but when I started chatting, we laughed all the way. Work is stressful, so just relax, be friendly, and chitchat with the staff; things will work out well. 😎

While I was considering purchasing a bag, one of the staff members made an unprofessional comment, saying, “The bag isn’t even $50,” while speaking with her colleagues, clearly referring to me in a judgmental way. Regardless of the price of the item, no customer should be made to feel judged or belittled for their shopping choices.

Poor Customer Service by Ground Staff
Went to collect my luggage and was disappointed with the lack of basic customer service. The staff member showed no initiative or courtesy—she didn’t bring the luggage to us but instead told us to go to the back area to retrieve it ourselves.
Upon inspection, we found that the luggage had dirty wheels and appeared to be a display set. When we raised this, she dismissively said there was no stock available and made no effort to provide alternatives or offer any recovery service.
When we asked for a physical receipt, she again responded dismissively, stating that since it was purchased online, the receipt was only available online.
There were no other customers around, yet she behaved as if she was too busy to assist. The overall experience was disappointing and unprofessional.

I went to get gifts for an event this weekend. I want to thank the entire store for their helpful inputs and suggestions, even with the style of engraving, especially Jay and Nickson.
