Don't get the ValueClub Extended Warranty. It is inconvenient. You'll need to wait 14 days to have your gadget back. Imagine if that's your only gadget. If the salesperson suggests you to get it, don't. In those 14 days, there are risk of data lost. And also, despite being the flagship store, there is service centre anymore and also the staff at the customer service is extremely professional in repeating the phrase "I don't know". Get whatever you want to get in challenger but no the extended warranty. Wanted to repair my screen crack but the moment i heard 14 days repairing period needed, i was lost. I don't even have a backup phone. I will need to buy another phone in order to fix this phone.

I was looking for a home printer, and the sales person, Jian Yufang was very helpful, not only checking and advising me on the various models that are more suitable for my family, but also helping me to check on alternatively printers, and helping me with the measuring of the shortlisted printer’s dimensions. She was also kind enough to help provide us with a trolley when we found the printer box to be quite large for us to carry. Thank you!

I went to Challenger after visiting the Samsung store just next to it where I had a terrible experience. The person there was so unfriendly and not helpful at all. At Challenger we asked a gentleman by the name of Sim to help us understand more about some of the Samsung tablets and other laptops. He was very friendly, helpful and had a great knack for helping others understand their needs better in order to meet them. We had such a pleasant experience with him. Kudos to you, Sim. You are a great example of high quality customer service.

Went through a lot of hassle in extended warranty. Long story short, went to customer service. Was attended by Sam and arif. They were nice but explanation on extended warranty and repair was not satisfactory. No choice but to email customer service instead. Was helped by Eric who was v clear and understanding towards my issue w the warranty and phone. Went again with my phone and was helped by Nelson. Nelson was knowledgeable and helpful. Took about 10 days to get the phone back. Went over around 2.30pm today (Sunday 1/6) was served by a v v black face young lady. No smile, nothing. In general just a bad experience to be served by her. When asked what was done to phone, a reluctant answer of phone unresponsive and green line. I didn't catch her name. My goal is to get out of there. To Challenger, pls put knowledgeable customer service representative at desk and this young lady need to get her attitude checked. To reinforce Sam and Arif-good attitude but can't answer questions presented Eric and nelson-good and understand and was able to assure customers on issues and solution. Last one-a young lady-horrible attitude.

Was served by Asif at the laptop electronics section. Super knowledgeable and very patient in recommending the best model for your needs without merely pushing certain brands/products to me. Wish all salesperson are like him. He helped me to calculate the best deal possible as well given my budget and offered the best possible price. Superb customer service and was really impressed. I have been to other outlets at AMK, Nex, City Square, Plaza Sing, but he stands out clearly with his professionalism and eager attitude. It’s not located in a very prominent location but frequent goers of the mall know where this is “hidden”. Need a little bit of navigation if you are first timer at this mall. Regardless, it’s their flagship store and largest in Singapore. There are models and special deals here which you might not find in other outlets, including exclusive model sets. That said, love the layout, spacing, and designated corners. Brands are displayed prominently, signboards are clear to direct users to specific needs. All staff are very friendly and helpful - you can find one easily to serve you readily. No hard-sell and only 100% customer-oriented service. Not too crowded as well typically, also maybe because of the location. It’s also well-stocked and has most equipments and latest gadgets. 5mins walk from Bugis MRT station.

Purchased a gaming keyboard for my new computer. At least better than best denki. Product all same, but service is really difference. Best staff at best denki like dont know everything. Challenger staff can do a good introduction even thru its not popular product

I was sold a faulty Garmin watch. When I tried to return the watch, I was told I could have a replacement but it would be in a different colour. I didn’t want a different colour, but they wouldn’t give me a refund. The staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful. The customer service was abysmal. When I first arrived at customer services, I was not even acknowledged. Instead, the guy came in, saw me waiting but proceeded to message on his private cell phone (see photo). The service was very slow. There are so many electrical shops in Singapore, I would never shop here. This was the worst experience I have had in the country. Everyone is always so polite and pleasant but this was absolutely terrible. Don’t go here! If you have any issues it will be a nightmare to sort out!

This is undeniably the best Challenger branch I have been to. I was looking for both laptop and printer tonight and was thoroughly served by a male staff in his 20s/early 30s (did not get his name). He was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the products and guided me through all the specifications and usage patiently. There was no hard selling or sweet lies about the products and he explained as what it is. The whole process really helped me greatly that I made a decisive move to buy a laptop. I was also served by a male staff in his 40s at the printer section. He was also very knowledgeable about all the specifications. The branch is full of impressive staff who know their products well. Service was prompt and good too! I went to Sim Lim the whole day before I came here and was not able to get details and good understanding. Never did I expect I would get my expensive gadgets at Challenger. I'm a long time Valore member by the way. Please keep it up!
