3 stars for products. 1 star for staff customer service!!! Bad experience with the self check out and staff! Tap nets on screen, but nets machine doesn’t react when I tap my card. Staff kept asking me what payment mode I am using, I told her nets a few times. But she click credit card instead, does your staff fully understand all the payment mode, if not placed someone who actually understand all payment at the cashier instead. I was so angry, I used another machine to rescan everything again, work fine. But a waste of my time ! And of course the ever grumpy Malaysian male staff, don’t ever approach him for anything, he was rude ,and not suitable to work in front line with his lousy attitude.

Had quite a bad experience at daiso bugis at 3 level .Daiso used to be a good place to shop with nice cheap quality houseware and cosmetics and daily necessity. However service is seriously lacking ..I was doing the checkout at the cashier that day and I took some time to process it but that cashier the staff in pic she was quite rude keep staring at me doing making me feel very uncomfortable and when I leave the plastic bag on one side she immediately came over and pack it and stare at me as it I make the one plastic a mess that was shocking and I continue my purchased and she keep coming over making me anxious and in the end keep having problems and that is making me stress .I will prefer the staff not to interfere as I also mention to her before I had done before but she ignore me and keep act like she is trying to help but have U hear before the saying "Insist on helping someone when they are not requesting is being rude and disrespectful." Not sure if this staff raida is part time but she also never say thanks but that is not an excuse and so lacking good service .The when I told the other staff they say their manager go for lunch n I need to wait another half an hour that is weird. And I saw them taking over that cashier .I hope you improve Ur service instead of being defensive over that rude attitude of your staff .Not acceptable.

I had quite a bad experience at Daiso Bugis, Level 3. Daiso used to be a good place to shop, with good quality, affordable houseware, cosmetics, and daily necessities. However, service is seriously lacking.
I was checking out at the cashier that day, and I was taking some time to process my items. However, the cashier (the staff in the picture) was quite rude, constantly staring at me and making me feel very uncomfortable. When I left the plastic bag on one side, she immediately came over, packed it, and stared at me as if I had made a mess with the plastic bag. This was shocking. I continued my purchase, but she kept coming over, making me anxious. In the end, I kept having problems, which made me stressed.
I would prefer the staff not to interfere, as I had also mentioned to her before that I had done this before. However, she ignored me and kept acting like she was trying to help. Have you heard the saying: "Insisting on helping someone when they are not requesting is being rude and disrespectful"? I'm not sure if this staff, Raida, is part-time, but she also never said thanks. That is not an excuse, and it shows a serious lack of good service.
When I told the other staff, they said their manager had gone for lunch and I would need to wait another half an hour. That was weird. I then saw them taking over for that cashier.
I hope you improve your service instead of being defensive about the rude attitude of your staff. This is not acceptable.

👍One of the biggest outlet, great place to buy some good stuff at really affordable prices.. Most are $2, approximately 90% of the products sold here are available. I never miss to visit this place whenever we pass by one, it's a chain store with many outlets around Singapore mall.. We can buy some basic toys for kids, basic tools, home furnishing, cosmetics, chocolates, gardening items, station aries, pet food and many more... The shop is well maintained and organise to browse around. Some of the items are above $2 so better check the price tag. If there is no price tag, it's means standard $2... No regret visiting Bugis DAISO.

A much quieter and less crowded Daiso tucked at the corner of Level 3 of Bugis Junction. A little hard to locate initially as the shopfront is hidden below a short staircase. They have all the typical range of products as per other outlets around the island and you can locate them easily. Enough staff around to provide help when needed. Self-checkout fully enabled here but there will be assistance so not to worry. And of course, not all items are at $2 anymore so be careful and check the price tags!
