I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with my recent visit to Gongcha Classic bugis on 11 May 2025 at approximately 1904. While I was looking forward to satisfied my craving of their taro milk tea, my experience was soured by the incredibly rude and unprofessional behavior of the store incharge.
When I approached the counter to clarify on my payment method, the incharge attitude was unwelcoming and frankly, offensive as if I'm there to redeem one for one milk tea on Fave.
To make matters worse, I attempted to pay for my order, and while the payment seemingly went through on my end I was told the transaction was unsuccessful as they no longer accept that payment method. Following the incharge's instructions, I had to make a second payment for the same drink. It was only later that I discovered that the initial payment had indeed been processed, resulting in a double charge for a single item that I should have received with the first transaction. Also, she just slammed my drink on the countertop, as a customer I don't think that that's the kind of attitude I deserved to be treated. I completely understand that working long hours and being understaffed will causes stress but need not lash it out on customer as I'm not being demanding or making a scene I just enquired nicely.
This entire experience was incredibly frustrating and left me feeling cheated and disrespected. The combination of the store incharge's terrible attitude and the payment mishap is unacceptable. I now have to go through the hassle of trying to get a refund for the erroneous charge, all while still being upset by the poor treatment I received.
I strongly advise others to consider other options before visiting. The unprofessionalism and potential for payment issues make this a place I will certainly not be returning to. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses both the staff's conduct and their payment processing system to prevent similar incidents from happening to other customers.

I always get the honey lemon green tea. when asked for no lemon skin. while syrup is fine. they leave out the lemon completely… so the drink is just green tea with topping. this has happened multiple times

Alishan milk tea with rainbow jelly, 0% sugar: Tasted like diluted milk. Can't taste the tea at all.

ordered on the kiosk at 11:01am but nobody to serve. Still waiting after 5min. Not acceptable.

Great service at this branch. It's my fave milktea but disappointed by the CNY money grab. They only have large size drinks and not medium which is wayyyy too much tea for me. Also all the Shopback promos are in medium sizes.

The workers hate their job and hate customers, far cry from what Gongcha used to be. Management please do better

At 5.50pm, there were 2 staffs attending shop.
1 tomboyish, while other petite both unattentive browsing hp.
When asked of payments mode, tomboy displayed loathing body language made one felt unwelcome.
Despite so, purchased thru machine could not alleviate the disgusting fact my patronage could be better spent elsewhere.
Thanks but no thanks.

Not too dissimilar to other bubble tea places. However, i do prefer the taste of their milk teas. Have visited their differenr branches in different cities and their consistency is brilliant. As of this branch, it's quick via kiosk ordering.

Located at L3 next to Kino, right next to main escalator from direction of mrt. Earl grey milk tea with herbal jelly from gongcha used to be my favorite bubble tea drink, but now it tastes watered down. Herbal jelly also not sweet enough, and a bit too soft/nua. But ordering was fast, 2 self service kiosks, also no queue despite constant stream of customers. Waited only a minute for my drink. Can pay by card. Will come again but will try another drink. Earl grey milk tea just too watered down now, despite paying extra for no ice.

I ordered Earl Grey tea by self-order. It’s easy and fast. The taste is good, less sweet, less ice.

Tried their student promo pearl milk tea with signature taro drink. It was extremely delicious, probably the best taro drink compared to other bubble tea store selling taro milk tea. Recommend to get 50% sugar to taste the taro flavor clearer. I always buy taro drink whenever i go to gongcha, simply tastes like melted taro ice cream at affordable price
