Had a very pleasant experience here. Went down to the shop because the email help centre wasn't able to answer my questions. James was there and answered all my questions. I'm very thorough, and he was able to help me decide. Ended up buying the Stealth Folio during the 30% off sale for someone else. I wasn't sure if it would fit, but when I found that it did, I came back the next day to get one for myself. James recognised me, we had a pleasant chat, and he gave me a fistbump as I left!! I'm not sure why the other reviews spoke negatively about James. It might be how he was in the past, but my experience with him is not anything like theirs. Keep it up, James, you're doing great!!!

Nice shop and great bags!
James is a little soft-spoken, but he's willing to help and answer all my questions without much hesitation. Just approach him!
He helped me pick out a bag that suits my needs and even let me fill the sample bag with my stuff just to test its capacity.
This is way better than the staff at the previous shop I went to, who told me I couldn't put things into their bags.
10/10 will be back again!

Used to love their bags, but their questionable lifetime warranty convinced me to go for other more reliable brands from now on. They refused to repair my bag, attributing the all-over peeling of the bag's water-repellent layer to 'regular wear and tear,' when it was obviously due to a substandard material they'd chosen to use.

James was very quiet and soft-spoken, and didn't complete sentences well. It seems the reviews below are quite spot-on. He appears to avoid customers as much as possible, and also tries to serve you with as few words as possible. I would suggest sending James for training.

Extremely lousy follow-up and replies to customers regarding a warranty claim for stitching coming off, reported more than three weeks ago. To date, no action has been taken. If Timbuk2 doesn't wish to honor this lifetime warranty, just let your customers know. Don't leave your customers hanging. I won't be buying any more products from them.
