Have a a bowl of extra rice seperate from my main bowl of rice and has the audacity to serve it to me like nothing happened. When i questioned again they apologied and put all the rice in a big bowl with the beef as IT SLD HAVE BEEN. But o notice the portion of beef is pathetic. Chicken karaage all cold which I know it’s precooked and left there without heating up. Poor tasting food. Not sure how many more I can put up with Yoshinoya as Sukiya being better in their whole rate and portion.

The food quality has noticeably declined since the branch’s renovation. The curry set comes with a salad but no soup. Instead of fresh leaves, they threw in the cabbage core, making up a large portion of the unappealing salad. The chicken breast had an unnaturally tender texture. Will not visit again. A set meal like this costs 18 dollar.

Ordered a Gyudon which tastes pretty average. Comes with miso soup. Food is served quite fast despite lunch hour. All self service.

A great place to enjoy a meal with family, offering a wide variety of interesting and tasty options. Additionally, the food is served quickly, so there’s no need for a long wait.

Has been a very very long time since i last ate at yoshinoya. Now ordering is by the machines.. Ordered their ebi curry rice +onsen 🥚 .. Food was served v fast, less than 5mins after ordering. Their japanese curry is quite nice ! U can further enhance its taste by adding some chili powder..

Can’t go wrong with Yoshinoya, good consistent flavor for this outlet too. Service was quick and our number was called within 5 mins after ordering. Ordering is via a kiosk at the entrance. Operationally, I think this is a good flow and moves the crowd and turnover the tables quick. Seats are unfortunately a little squeezey but fully understandable given the lunch crowd.

The food is great, I loved my meal - one large egg beef bowl and one regular cheese beef bowl. The beef was soft and well seasoned in their tasty sauce, along with the soft onions and Japanese rice. The portions were very filling and worth the price, it comes with soup as well. I would say that regular size is good for one person and large maybe too much rice. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was average, quite cramped and stuffy.

Their double beef gyodon is nice and flavourful. Similar standard with yoshinoya in other countries. The service is relatively fast considering that I visit during the peak lunch hours on Sunday and the place is packed. The atmosphere is not that good though. They squeeze in as many tables as they could to maximize the space that it is not comfortable. I ate my food with constant concern that my elbow will hit another customer that sit in the next table.

I recently ordered gyudon from Yoshinoya and understand that outside food isn’t allowed. However, we had some chicken skewers (tori q sticks) and placed them in our bowl for extra food, leaving the empty sticks on the plate. When the server cleared our table, they picked up the sticks, handed them back to us, and said, "Outside food." They is a middle to senior aged guy with super big ears.
Seriously? Is this how you treat paying customers? I purchased your food, yet you refused to dispose of the empty sticks—essentially just trash at that point. What’s next? If I use a tissue, will you hand that back to me too? This kind of service is unacceptable, especially for customers who support your store.
A little flexibility and common courtesy would go a long way in making the dining experience better. Very disappointed.

A delightful joint for gyudon ( beef bowls ) at Bugis Junction basement.
I love that they keep the standards and affordable prices in a nice aircon environment which is pleasant during off peak hours.
*note to mgt: some sofas need reupholstering
I usually get the beef bowl ( R) from $6.50 ( R size) or top up onsen egg.
Sets are + $4.90 for a drink and a side dish like karaage ( fried chicken) or salad.
They now have a much bigger menu and selections besides beef bowls.
I love the self-service condiments especially fresh pickled ginger..
Staff are mostly courteous, some are friendly and appreciative too. Keep it up.
Definitely my choice for a quick beef bowl crave fix.
