Travelled down to redeem brownies, but was informed that items are oos. Asked if I can substitute the brownies with other items of similar values, which is what many other F&Bs would suggest, but I got denied. Lesson learnt is probably to maybe give them a call before heading down to avoid disappointment I guess.

the chocolate origin cake used to be my favourite chocolate cake ever but it doesn't seems to taste as rich anymore, wished it is more chocolatey than cakey. for the price, there are much better options~🥲

Read the reviews about the impeccable attitudes of the staffs. Seen it for myself. Asked for names was told why should I give it to you we are only part-timers. With long fake nails on, so unhygienic to work at a dessert store. Not one but both staffs, looking like a manicure shop staff. Wearing the face mask so people can't recognise you.
No wonder the chocolate origin stores are closing one by one

Cake was nice, service staff kind of attitude, wearing earbud at work ask her question she use nod head to answer, come to collect cake also use head to ask what people want.
Ordered cake on the other day & today collection cake same kind of attitude.

bugis outlet on 27/4/2025, 4.50pm. Chocolate Origin, do check out your female staff on duty. I was in front of the store and no one to be seen. Found your female staff sitting at a corner, face stuck to her HP. I said hello to her and she reluctantly attended to me. Although she is wearing a mask, can read from her gaze and body language that she is not in a good mood. Poker face, cold, rude attitude and response. "kena sai".
I feels like telling her off but will shared it here instead. Spoiled my day.

Terrible that they want the sale but don't want people eating anywhere in the store. Previously there was seating arrangement, now they are chasing people out from eating in their store. So you buy your lava cake and then step out to eat in front of their store, not in the store! Nice model!

Bought a cake today at 5pm and cut just done. It all turned out crumbly and dry, we weren’t able to cut the cake into slices.
Update: went back to the shop and they were super apologetic about it. So service recovery was definitely good but the verdict about the quality of the sake is to be determined.

Went over Bugis outlet to get some cookies for gift today. The lady serving me was not in a good mood, whole 2 mins experience was bad. i think she shouldn't work in service line.

The cake was nice, but the service staff had a bit of an attitude. Wearing an earbud at work, she responded to my questions with only a nod. When I came to collect the cake, she again used a nod to ask what I wanted. I ordered a cake the other day, and the collection today involved the same kind of attitude.

My favorite type of ice cream is dark chocolate flavoured, and I would say this is probably one of the darkest if not THE darkest dark chocolate ice cream I’ve ever had. Mildly sweet, all the ‘darkness’ of dark chocolate, but only carrying the bitterness in a nice way. Super gooey and rich. No seating available. Got the single scoop 1 for 1 deal through SingTel. Paid $6.

One of the best dark chocolate ice cream ever!!! The ice cream is rich and creamy, and definitely a great dessert option after long walk of shopping esp when the shop is located right near the escalator at B1. The only down side is that the staff is too just taking orders and preparing food at the counter that table cleaning is delayed or simply not there. We were seated at a table where there are still sorry spots from previous customers.

Love the 70% Swiss Dark Chocolate Bar. Best enjoyed at room temperature, not cold. So creamy and yummy. Love also the 70% Catlate single origin chocolate from Ecuador. Not as creamy but taste so good. Unlike common dark chocolate, these are premium stuff. Can be addictive but 70% is healthy! Damn shiok.

Visited on 13/2/2022 Sunday is crowded. Attracted by it's 'wall display' of chocolate and the cat status, Cacaocat 'made of chocolate'? The chocolate candy cost $2 per piece, it have 14 flavours. Choose dark chocolate, matcha, honjicha and yuzu flavours. And brought the Cacaocat Bake Ware Choco, dark chocolate $9.80

Huge fanatic of all things chocolate so it’s deffos not one to miss out.
The chocolate lava cake was absolutely splendid. Love the vanilla ice cream at the bottom. Gives alittle bit of the element of surprise.
Not a huge fan of the ice cream. I prefer awfully chocolate’s. But overall, wonderful.
Would deff come back to satisfying my period cravings!

As a huge fanatic of all things chocolate, this is definitely not one to miss.
The chocolate lava cake was absolutely splendid. I loved the vanilla ice cream at the bottom; it gave a little element of surprise. However, I wasn't a huge fan of the ice cream itself, preferring Awfully Chocolate's. But overall, it was wonderful.
I would definitely come back to satisfy my period cravings!
