Read about them online as a great option for reasonable prices and fast service. They were not wrong. We got fantastic service. Great pricing and fast too. Really impressed with the range of choices. Lovely staff as well. Definitely a 5 star place.

The quality of the glass frame is not good.it has rusted afer few uses. Spend some more dollers and go for ray ban. They even asked me to spend another $80 to get replacement.

Didn't really solve the problem even after spending many hundred dollars on it's so called "better" frame & a pair of it's so called "top brand" pair of lenses. Had to revert back to my good ol' pair of trusted & cheap reading glasses which has better readibility than this pair of "rubbish". It's so mind-boggling! Don't really trust this co anymore & it's products in terms of it's quality, professionalism (skills & certification) & it's way of not ultimately making things right for it's customers no matter what it takes! What a waste of time & esp. $$$! 👎👎

Had a lovely experience shopping for glasses here, staff was patient and really helpful…assisted me with all my concerns and help me in finding the frame that I wanted! I felt really comfortable shopping, if you’re looking for reading glasses this is the place to go (don’t let all the reviews stop you) can’t expect a ray-ban quality here for the price u are paying of course; expectations need to be managed accordingly…

Great service, highly recommend!
I bought a pair of glasses from this shop. Unfortunately, the first correction wasn’t quite right. But when I came back with my previous prescription and explained the issue, they were super helpful and immediately offered to replace the lenses without any problem. They even suggested that I try them at home and come back if they still didn’t feel right. Very professional and kind – excellent service!

I have just visited this branch in Bugis.
Having made many pair of glasses from them in the past, it had always been very natural for me to re-visit them on my twice yearly holidays to Singapore.( my birth country).
As usual, I made one pair of prescription sunglass and a mid range reading glass.
Collected them, no problem.
Very happy.
After just 3 weeks of owning that pair of sunglass, there was a huge scratch on the tint. By then, I was already booked on a one month holiday to Bangkok which means I can’t rectify the problem until I return which was yesterday 22/03/24.
In 23/03, I took it to the usual branch in Bugis and explained why I could not come earlier even though the fault was discovered one month ago.
The reception I received was frosty to say the least.
Not once has this lady step away from her position when I entered till another ‘western’ couple came in.
I have this intention to make another pair of sunglasses but with yellow tinted lens.
I enquire if ‘polarised’ could be added to a prescription.
Either her English was not good or I’ve got hearing problems, a simple sentence of ‘ we are unable to add polarised lens onto prescription sunglasses ‘ would have cleared my enquiry.
However, it took more than 8-10 sentences to make me understand what she was trying to tell me.
That was also not the problem as of past experience with this branch, good service was never missing.
I was really patient, however, I could sense the frustration she was having like I was some kind of idiot.
I entertained myself trying on sunglasses, walking back to her ‘stuck’ position, enquiring about other sunglasses and lenses.
During this time, another young’western’ couple walked in.
By the wave of a miracle wand, she suddenly became so friendly, smiling at this couple.
I have come to realised that she was only rude to ‘Local looking’ customers.
Thinking I’m a Singaporean, she was rude to me.
Actually, she cannot be more wrong.
I am a returning customer from overseas.
I’ve written good reviews on Glimpse before.
This one staff on this fateful morning had dispel my beliefs in this company.
I am happy to go somewhere else to spend my money.
See attached picture of the lady. Hopefully, she has in-attached herself from her position and start working like a sales personnel.
She is being paid to do a job and sad to say, she’s not done it.
One week from today, I would be collecting my ‘scratched’ sunglass, would I see her again. I hope not, but, if I do, I hope she would pull her finger out to do what she’s been paid to do.
Not to chase returning customers away.

Jing Li has consistently been professional, friendly, and patient throughout my many purchases at Glimpse @ Bugis.
I usually wouldn’t opt for an eye check before buying new glasses, but Jing Li encouraged me to take advantage of the complimentary eye exam since it had been a while.
During the check, she detected a potential issue and advised me to seek medical attention before proceeding with my new purchase. Thanks to her attentiveness and care, I was later diagnosed with cataract.
I’ve since completed my eye surgery and returned today to get my new specs—from Jing Li, of course.

Simply forgotten to ask for the staff's name, but her service is top notch. Walked in around 8:20pm, 3rd June (Saturday). A young lady in blue sweater, with brown hair and not wearing any glasses (Hopefully a superior notice this review for complement). Requested her assistance to adjust the nose pads of the glassses which I've gotten from Glimpse (obviously), and she totally nailed it! Perfectly sovled the issue in no time with professionalism! She even went on to tighten the screw for the frame (temple corners which some refers to hinges of the frame) when she realised they were loose, which could be uncomfotable for wearers. (I didn't even realise I needed it! That's how professional she is.)

Worst experience and worst product quality.
I recently had a highly disappointing experience with this glasses shop. The product I purchased was defective, and to my surprise, the store did not have a replacement or a new item to offer. Instead, I was asked to return for a replacement, only to be offered another scratched display set from a different outlet. This entire process wasted my time and effort, as I had to make trips with no satisfactory resolution. What’s even more concerning is that they sell display sets to customers, which is something I have never encountered before in any professional retail environment. This practice, combined with the lack of proper after-sales support, raises serious concerns about the quality of their products and services. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend this shop to others.
